Cerro Poqui assists the community following the emergency caused by the frontal system
Weeks ago, a strong frontal system negatively impacted certain areas of Chile, causing river overflows and flooding, consequently affecting a significant number of individuals. Coltauco, located in the O’Higgins Region, is a commune where the Cerro Poqui Nature Sanctuary is situated. As a result, the sanctuary team, a group of individuals from the neighboring communities that were severely affected by this frontal system, organized to assist the local residents. They collected food, clothing, and hygiene supplies to aid the community in the sector.
