Chilean National Congress passes tax reform legislation with incentives for charitable contributions to non-profit organizations

After decades of debate, the Chilean Congress passed tax reform legislation that will create important new incentives for philanthropy in Chile, including for contributions to environmental conservation.

Tierra Austral welcomes this tax reform legislation, which it believes will make it easier for private landowners to take action to protect their properties with DRCs and will encourage increased support of environmental conservation.
