Monitoring in Valle California

This year, our team returned to Valle California to conduct a new monitoring of the area’s conservation status. During the visit, important photo-monitoring sessions were carried out, among other activities, and high-resolution images were captured using drones. These tools not only allow us to precisely document landscape changes over time but also help identify potential shifts in vegetation and other key ecological aspects.

And great news! We observed an almost complete recovery from the spiny caterpillar outbreak that occurred in November 2021, which had affected the lenga forest.
