More than 270 hectares will be protected forever in the Maule Region
Tierra Austral has signed a Derecho Real de Conservación (DRC) agreement, creating a new privately protected area in the pre-Andean zone of the Maule Region.
This agreement covers the Roblerías Estate located in the commune of Teno, a territory of just over 403 hectares, historically used for logging and tree cutting for firewood and charcoal production. Out of this territory, 69% will be protected forever, meaning that after the signing of this new RRC agreement, 278 hectares will be conserved in perpetuity.
