Tierra Austral organizes a seminar on the rise of land divisions in Patagonia

On Friday, June 3rd, the virtual seminar “Expansion of land divisions in Patagonia: a socio-environmental threat” was held, featuring presentations by Juan Pablo Schuster, a lawyer and doctoral candidate in Geography, and Patricio Pliscoff, a Doctor in Biological Sciences. Both professionals provided their perspectives, addressing the legal and environmental aspects regarding the impacts of the expansion of land divisions in the Chilean Patagonia.

The seminar was supported and organized by various institutions and civil society organizations present in the region.
