Tierra Austral Participates in CEP Panel on Challenges to Achieve the 30×30 Target

On July 19, we took part in the seminar “Challenges for the 30×30 Target,” organized by the Centro de Estudios Públicos (CEP). The event, which included participation from the Ministry of the Environment (MMA), aimed to explore the complexities of developing effective strategies to integrate government, the private sector, and local communities in collective efforts to protect 30% of the territory by 2030, as outlined in Target 3 of the Global Biodiversity Framework. Victoria Alonso, Executive Director of Fundación Tierra Austral, called on authorities to create more opportunities for engagement with the private sector and civil society organizations.
