Visits at Cerro Poqui Sanctuary!
The distinguished British botanist, Martín Gardner, who has been associated with the flora of our country for over 35 years, wanted to visit Cerro Poqui to continue his research, study, and delve into the vegetation of the central zone. Alongside him, we were able to observe different species and learn from his extensive experience. Gardner leads the International Conifer Conservation Programme (ICCP) at the renowned Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, where he even has an impressive collection of Chilean plants that he has propagated himself.
