This private protected area is located in the San Fernando commune, Colchuga Province, O’Higgins Region. It covers a total of 2,500 hectares.

This private protected area is located in the commune of San Fernando, Colchuga Province, O’Higgins Region. It spans over 2,500 hectares and more than 85% of the land is dedicated to conservation. The objective is to restore and protect the sclerophyll forest and biodiversity of the zone, especially the Boreal relicts of the Cordillera Cypress tree. The DRC also looks to generate scientific investigation, promote environmental education, and offer the community contact with nature through the protected area. The area has significant ecological value due to the presence of Andean and sub-Andean ecosystems that, among other things, host formations of deciduous Mediterranean forests and bodies of water that are of paramount importance to the region.
